Pros and cons of Buzz Aldrin Portal to Science and Space Exploration app for iPhone and iPad

Buzz Aldrin Portal to Science and Space Exploration app good for

To have this much info at the palm of your hand is truly mind blowing!! What a great thing and opportunity. So worth it. Thank you Mr. Aldren Sir for this great app.
Thankyou Buzz, i watched your mission to the moon on tv, and could not wait to hear your telling of the adventure. Punching the reporter was awesome. Did you think that telling Ali G about horses on Venus might confuse him? That is a very funny intervew. Great iPhone app, lots to do. Thanks.
Lots to see, great videos, very educational. Thank you Mr. Aldrin for a very interesting app!
I bought this app hoping to have the live NASA video feed so I could watch the spacewalk and buzz didnt disappoint. I was able to watch them install the new battery right from my iPod with great quality while laying in my bed! Thanks so much! P.s. NASAs site hates iPod touches... The beta site has no live video and completely messed safari... Thanks again for this app
I have always admired and respected Buzz Aldrin and this app does not disappoint. There is so much great information, video and pictures. Buzz provides lots of great insight and they include tons of other commentary from top experts. The app includes NASA TV which I have been trying to get for some time on the iphone -- thanks BUZZ! -- and so much other stuff on virtually every other important mission out there. I just watched a great video from Virgin Galactic showing what it will be like to buy your way in space. There are some great videos on the Mars missions, space station, shuttle, etc. Im a huge fan of the moon mission and the app is packed with photos, documentary videos, and really cool audio from the mission. Much of whats in the app can be found on the web, but these guys do a stellar job of putting it all together in a nice and really good looking package. I really look forward to continuing to explore whats in here.
Love this App!!! Not only can I satisfy my fix for all things "Space Exploration", but my family can learn more about one of Americas great heroes. Clean interface, informative, great experts, awesome Buzz Tweets and Nasa / Buzz Videos and Amazing Apollo 11 onboard Audio. Wish all my apps were this good.

Some bad moments

Bought this thinking it is an HD iPad app, but it isnt. I think it is a good iPhone app, but it needs to be upgraded to iPad screen size.
The developer should make this application iPad compatible. The iPhone/iPod owner shouldnt have to pay for the iPad version again.
Rubbish. Didnt even work at all. Selecting "News", "Interactive", "Buzz Life" or "More" buttons just returns you to the home screen.
Videos do not work (except live feed so I know its not my phones settings) Pictures are scant I would expect a wealth of pictures since they are freely accessible on the web anyway. Also pictures dont have descriptions so I dont know what/why Im looking at except I see Bono and Edge on pic 21/22 on the ISS series what are those losers doing in this app? My initial enthusiasm for this app is dampened severly. I dont know how Buzz can put his good name to such a bad app
Great resource for any Space buff, full of fascinating facts and providing a wonderful overview of current space activities, research and more. BUT, Aldrins backing of Obama and his catastrophic cancellation of all NASA manned spaceflight plans, is amazing, disappointing, and spoils this whole app. His "takes" are to me, sadly misguided and would mean the end of American manned space exploration planning. Plus, the biggest attraction of the app, the live NASA tv feed, does not work for me for longer than 2-3 minutes. Needs work.
Why cant you save pictures? Astronomy picture of the day does it for free. 1.99 and I cant even save a Buzz picture.
